Experienced Book Editing and Book Publishing Guidance
Readying a book for publication is a complex and nuanced process that requires strong editorial input, sound literary judgment and good conceptual thinking from advisers who are familiar with today’s rapidly evolving book publishing marketplace.
Steven C. Eisner and Jon Reisfeld provide a powerful combination of book writing, book editing and book publishing know how. They honed their skills separately, first, through decades spent as advertising, marketing and communications professionals and later, by writing and publishing their own books.
Steve owns and operates the When Words Count Retreat, in Rochester, VT. He is a seasoned marketer and Amazon.com best-selling author, whose debut book, The MineFields, won the Bronze 2012 IPPY Award for best literary novel (Mid-Atlantic region).
Jon Reisfeld, the retreat’s General Manager, is a former journalist, magazine publisher and marketing consultant. He wrote the Amazon.com best-selling historical fantasy novelette, The Last Way Station and the novella, The Reform Artists, which he will soon be re-releasing as a full-length novel.
The two have spent much of their careers marketing regional, national and international brands. In addition to their book editing and book publishing skills, they also help authors develop and promote their personal brands.
