Nestled in the hollows of the Green Mountains of Vermont is our 1809 modernized Farmhouse, with two barns, geese pond, heated swimming pool facing some of the highest peaks in the state. Join us at America’s premiere Writer’s Retreat: When Words Count Retreat. Totally Internet fast. Very fast.

Starting on October 28th and running through November 1st enjoy powerful writing workshops conducted by some of America’s most gifted in the horror arena. On Friday evening and Saturday, you will learn the ropes from Literary Agent Lane Heymont. On Sunday and Monday, receive valuable instruction on how to write better horror stories with horror author, Kristin Dearborn. On Sunday night, celebrated Paranormal Investigator, Barry Pirro, will present a lecture sharing stories about some of his most eerie cases of hauntings, poltergeists, demons, and supernatural phenomena.  And Halloween night, get a front row seat for Campbell Harmon’s Edgar Allan Poe performance. Riveting.

Throughout the four days you’ll be inspired to write some of your finest prose. As this is an intimate writers’ retreat experience, space is limited to no more than 20 guests. Our outstanding farm-to-table meals will be shared with our guest speakers who will hear samplings of your writing throughout the four days.

All accommodations for the five-day, four-night stay include three delicious meals daily (including a four-course dinner each night),  hash sessions and workshops.  All this will be yours for the special price of $879.00 for the entire five days, four nights. That is $219.75 a day for a lovely room, three meals and all guest speakers and workshops.  (And if you plan two people to a room, the only extra cost is $302.40 for meals for the second person.)

Don’t miss this once in a lifetime experience! Call Eberly today at 443-963-6440 to book your Halloween retreat in the Green Mountains.
