Could The Author-Agent Weekend Lead to Literary Representation?

Literary agents are constantly searching for new talent to represent, but the primary purpose of the Author-Agent weekend is to give you important feedback, useful information and new resources/networking opportunities. However, should the Agent become excited about your work and its potential, he/she will approach you. But please let the agent make the first move!

An Informal, Comfortable Experience

Our author-agent weekends are designed to create a natural, informal setting in which to get to know our literary/book agent VIPs. You’ll break bread with the agent at least twice a day (at breakfast and dinner), engage in small talk and get to know each other informally. Who knows? You might even leave the retreat as friends!

“You’re not sitting in a room with 50 people, listening to someone lecturing up front. You’re sitting at the table and dining with the agent! That’s a great advantage!
Laurie Spencer
“It was really informative. I learned, not just about my writing, but about the whole process and that there are things I can do, now, to get ahead.”
