When Words Count Retreat is delighted to announce that Marie White Small has joined our team as our Writer-in-Residence. Marie brings her 10 years’ experience as a writer’s
workshop founder and moderator, along with her impressive skills as our Pitch Week II winner. To date, Marie holds the record as our highest scorer in our iconic Pitch Week contests. She will work hand in hand with our Pitch Week Semi-Finalists and Finalists. In her role, she will offer editing services, tried-and-true advice on how to be a winner, and guidance for upcoming writers on how to navigate the waters of the traditional publishing world with grace and acumen.
Her greatest wish is to nurture new writers and help our Pitch Week Finalists outdo themselves and her out-of-the-box win in June 2014. Don’t take our word regarding her exceptional writing– take a peek at the first chapter of her winning novel, Stony Kill.
New to When Words Count Retreat are off-site editing services, also offered by Marie. She will work with authors via, email, phone, or Skype. Please feel free to contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 443-413-1596.
Please join us in congratulating Marie on her new position at WWCR. We feel privileged having her onboard!
